The Santa events run on every weekend day from 29 November to 21 December, and you are very welcome to join in and help on any of them that you wish! Please contact tim.miller@swindonpanel.org.uk for further information.

Swindon Panel Days and GWS Civil Engineering Group Days

Swindon Panel Days are the days on which we meet, generally at Didcot Railway Centre, to carry out practical work on the project. This is mainly work relating to the new building at the moment. The GWS Civil Engineering Group generally meet on both weekend days when SPS meets on a Saturday or Sunday, and everyone is welcome to join in on those days too. Details of any specific tasks coming up will be published here:
2 Dec – Foundations Work
6 Dec – Assisting with DRC Santa Days
16 Dec – Foundations Concrete Pouring
21 Dec – Assisting with DRC Santa Days
31 Dec – 4 January – Brick Cutting Days

2 May – Didcot Railway Centre Steam Gala – Swindon Panel Stand Manning (also on 3rd and 4th)
24 May – Didcot Railway Centre Diesel Gala & Real Ale Gala – Swindon Panel Stand Manning (also on 23rd and 25th)

Additional Exhibition Stand Days

We plan to display our exhibition stand at the following events:
18 April – Didcot Railway Centre Railcar Day
2-4 May – Didcot Railway Centre Steam Gala
23-25 May – Didcot Railway Centre Diesel Gala & Real Ale Gala
A number of these dates are also building work dates.
(Other events will hopefully be added in 2015.)
Our exhibition stand does vital work spreading the word about our organisation and attracting new people. These are always fun days to attend, no special skills are required, as long as you can chat to people and hand out leaflets you’ll be perfect! Why not join us and help out on one of the days (or part of a day) above?
